Buying Assistant – Part-time 30 hours/ week

An exciting opportunity to join a lovely Oxfordshire based retailer as a Buying Assistant to join their head office on a permanent, part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven administration and preferably some buying support experience, seeking a varied support role in a busy, fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with the Buyer within the brands key category to provide support in all aspects of the buying process, including; gathering product information from suppliers, uploading this onto internal database, sample management, through to quality assurance.
Working cross departmentally, you will be a strong communicator with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders. Approaching task-oriented solutions with a logical and efficient attitude, the Buying Assistant will be highly organised, with strong verbal and written communication skills. A head for figures and sound MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel are also essential.
The role would suit a candidate who has previous admin experience in a buying or marketing environment. Working 30 hours a week, with flexibility for working pattern, whether that's 4 full days or 5 shorter days or something in-between. Salary stated is full-time equivalent that will be pro-rata'd to £14-17,000.
