We are pleased to be working exclusively with the Award Winning National Self Build & Renovation Centre in Swindon.
The NSBRC are an Employee Owned business who have been recognised recently as a Wiltshire Business Award winner for best Small business and they are looking to recruit an Account Manager to join them on their fantastic journey.
If anyone has not been to see the centre (near Junction 16, M4) then you must go and take a look, the centre is leading the way in offering support for anyone interested in Self-build, Renovation or Build Projects. There are over 240 exhibitors based on site (including two full-size houses!) and you can speak to their experts about questions you may have about your build projects, getting information directly from exhibitors and if you are interested, taking bespoke courses to help you through your own journey.
In addition, the centre is being recognised as the leading Conference facility (bringing the WOW to your conferences!) and they partner with a large number of business to offer 5 unique conference suites on site.
Could you be the Account Manager for them…?
We have a rare opportunity for a vibrant Account Manager to be an active part of a fantastic and inspiring team. They are looking a natural communicator to work in a hybrid role packed with variety, featuring responsibilities that straddle between Account Management and Business Development.
The company are looking for a professional and confident individual to help manage the relationship with the current 240 exhibitors who current exhibit at the NSBRC. You will be tasked with improving retention rates and building long-term relationships with these exhibitors. In addition you will help to identifying new prospects for the centre, to promote the company and encourage new brand partnerships. You’ll be liaising with suppliers and professionals, investigating business opportunities, and encouraging potential partners to purchase exhibition space. The last part of the role will be to help promote their conference facilities to local businesses in the Swindon and surrounding areas.
By entering this role, you’ll have the chance to work in collaboration with an award-winning showroom, resource & conference centre and to work in a team that genuinely values their staff. As an Employee Owned business you will immediately join their ‘trust’ and be an effective owner of the business! The team ethic is crucial to being successful in this role; For example, if they have an event on and one of their conference suites needed setting up then you will be happy to muck-in to get things done!
We are looking for someone who is credible, professional but not constrained by corporate limitations. Each day will boast a wealth of variety, encouraging participation in diverse responsibilities from prospecting clients, to maintaining existing relationships, to tracking progress and supporting conferencing. All activity is in line with the collaborative goal to grow the brand and its partner reach.
This role would suit a confident Account Manager or Sales Executive who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the business (along with the willingness to learn and adapt). Passionate about their brand, employees are brimming with enthusiasm about the endless possibilities at the NSBRC over the next few years, and this role can be an integral part of helping them on this journey.
