A fantastic opportunity for a Brand Activation Manager with a solid background in events to join a growing business based in Gloucester. Working alongside the Head of Marketing you will take responsibility for developing and implementing brand plans, leading a small team of Marketing Executives to activate brands at events all over the UK.
As Brand Activation Manager you will lead on key brand client partnerships to deliver high-impact, strategic and innovative annual brand plans, translating key objectives into an activity plan. You will work cross-functionally to oversee the development of brand building activations that engage and inspire customers, to grow the brand and drive event sales.
This is not a pure strategy role, we need somebody willing to be hands-on at the events. With brand activation ownership you will be on-site to ensure all runs smoothly from build to launch ensuring that brand plans are being followed, brief delivery teams on-site and monitor sales performance, reporting results back to brand partners.
The successful candidate will be a strategic, experienced Brand Manager, preferably with agency side experience, but happy to hear from client-side marketers too. Classically trained you will have a deep understanding of brands and a customer centric approach. You will have strong commercial acumen with an analytical approach to long term planning. With proven team management experience, to succeed in the role you will be adaptable and able to react quickly, with honed senior stakeholder management skills and the ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
Due to the role being an events-driven position, we are looking for applicants willing to be flexible and willing to work unsociable hours during peak event season and travel to events nationally.
