After watching The Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake off on Channel 4 (and loving it) the team at Niche Recruitment felt inspired to bake and more importantly, raise money!
Established by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4, Stand Up to Cancer is an annual fundraising campaign that brings the UK together to speed up progress in life-saving cancer research. The money raised by SU2C helps accelerate brand new tests and treatments for cancer patients.
This year, to give back, the team pitched a stall in the office reception, brought in resident Paul Hollywood look-a-like Steve Sarson (of Graham Smith) to judge the competition and got selling! The winner (and well-deserved) was our office manager Charli – who baked a mouth-watering lemon and white chocolate cheesecake. She even got a hand-shake from the man himself!
We managed to raise (drum roll please)…
A big thank you to everyone in Callow Park who donated and everyone who came along to support! If you missed out on donating please click here! Your donation can help speed up life-saving research.
