We have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Administrator to join our fascinating Swindon based client.
Working within the heart of the Operations Department, as Procurement Administrator you will be support the procurement of service providers to the organisation. This will involve managing invitations to tender and evaluating tender responses to deliver on a series of key projects for the business. The organisation are in a transition period and moving to utilising a new procurement system so it is important that you can work to help support this transition period and work closely with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure this happens efficiently.
You will play an active role in monitoring the progress of each task involved in the procurement of the service providers, you will be working parallel to the Process Team, Delivery and Insight Team, ensuring that projects are started in a controlled manner, monitored effectively and efficiently with issues resolved quickly, and closed out promptly.
You will have previously worked on similar projects, with experience of the entire Bid/Procurement process, tracking the tenders as they develop until completion, in line with best practice. Similarly, you’ll be able to implement project changes, adapting your approach as necessary. A natural communicator, you’ll also be confident in liaising with professionals, facilitating strong relationships with stakeholders.
This role would be an ideal match for an individual who prides themselves on flawless attention to detail and compliance to deadlines. A well organised tracking system is crucial for the success of these campaigns, so applicants must be accustomed to navigating and managing Operational Information Systems and have strong data and reporting experience.
