It’s been around 18 months since we held our first HR forum, discussing the frightening topic of Virtual Onboarding and the struggles that come with it. Fast-forward to the present day, and this piece remains as relevant as ever. Remote working has become a set-in-stone feature of today’s working world, ensuring that the discussions and topics covered can still help your organisation today.
With the release of our new whitepaper on the horizon, we believe that this is the perfect time to take a look back at some of the valuable insights from our first piece.
Built around the words and strategies of organisations that have had success with Virtual Onboarding, we talked to several partner companies about their virtual onboarding experiences. Both the first time and second time we faced this barrier, a lot of our community found this knowledge more than helpful.
We found out how companies borrowed techniques from different sources – such as secondary schools and even speed dating – and how they make buddy systems work remotely. We learned how they tackled employee fatigue and monitored mental health, two enormous challenges for remote working. With plenty more on top of that.
But all that experience isn’t much use unless it’s shared. So, Niche Recruitment has picked out the most useful, actionable points and turned them into a whitepaper.
Our piece: Virtually Perfect – How Companies are Creating Great Virtual Onboarding is available for free, right now, by emailing us at hello@niche-rec.co.uk
